On October 22, 2024, Unimax India, in collaboration with the Tiles and Sanitaryware Importers’ Association (TSIA), hosted an event titled “Celebrating Craft and Collaboration.” Distinguished guests included Mrs. Devika Lal and Mr. Saurab Shablok from the High Commission of India in Colombo, along with leaders from the Morbi Ceramic Manufacturers Association and Unimax India. The event addressed industry concerns about tax regulations and concluded with the signing of an MoU between the Morbi Tile Association and TSIA. The Indian High Commission expressed its support in strengthening ties between Sri Lankan buyers and Indian suppliers.

The meeting addressed concerns regarding unfair taxes and potential tax hikes. An MoU was also signed between the Morbi Tile Association and TSIA. Additionally, the Indian High Commission has committed to strengthening the relationship between buyers and suppliers.”
